DESCRIPTION:

The Nicholson coarse-grade half-round hand file is 10" long and has one flat side with double-cut American pattern teeth and one curved side with single-cut American pattern teeth for use on flat and curved surfaces. It has double-cut coarse (also called bastard) grade American pattern teeth on the flat side for rapid material removal and single-cut coarse-grade teeth on the round side for sharpening and deburring with a rough finish. The tang can be used with an optional handle for secure gripping.
