The body is made of a virtually indestructible engineering polymer resin that is also shock-resistant, corrosion-proof, non-conductive, and lightweight. The case is O-ring sealed and waterproof. The unbreakable polycarbonate lens features a scratch-resistant coating. LED technology, impervious to shock with a 50,000-hour lifetime, provides 100 lumens, 4200-candela peak beam intensity, and a 130-meter beam distance. Run time is 6 hours to 10 percent of initial lumen output; regulated output is 4 hours. Optimized electronics provide regulated intensity throughout battery life.
